Alan and the Alligators played in the 2015 Sudbury, MA 4th of July Parade from atop a big truck. This annual event is always a lot of fun! Always great to see so many friends and fans along the parade route! Big thanks to Pro Tech Towing, Hudson, MA for the beautiful truck, Geno the driver for the smooth ride, and The Sudbury Chamber of Commerce for inviting us to play once again.

In March of 2015, Alan finished recording the remaining drum tracks for the new Alan and The Alligators album. The tracks were engineered and recorded by Tom Bianchi, and combined with the material already engineered and recorded with John Willoughby, there is more than enough music underway for the new Alligators record!

On Tuesday November 4th, 2014, Tom Bianchi and Alan Goodrich went into Woolly Mammoth Recording Studio in Waltham, MA and recorded the rhythm tracks for the new Baker Thomas CD. They recorded about an album and a half’s worth of material. Now the overdubbing and the tough job of choosing which songs make it onto the new record begins!

Alan Goodrich had the pleasure of drumming for local legend Kevin So at Kevin’s record release show at Johnny D’s in Somerville, MA on October 29, 2014. Kevin’s new album “Countryside” is fantastic and features Chester Thompson (of Genesis, Frank Zappa, and Phil Collins fame) on drums and a who’s-who list of top Nashville session musicians. To find out more about Kevin and even order yourself a copy of his CD, you can visit his website: https://www.kevinso.com/

John Willoughby’s project “Jake and The Java Cats” have a recording of their new song “Time” that features Alan Goodrich on drums and John Willoughby on lead vocals and bass guitar. A very cool tune that you can check out at: https://www.jakeandthejavacats.com/

Alan and the Alligators played acoustically (due to the rain) in the Sudbury, MA 4th of July Parade in 2014 from atop a big truck. It was wet out but a lot of fun! Great to see so many friends and fans along the parade route! Big thanks to Pro Tech Towing, Hudson, MA for the beautiful truck, Geno the driver for the smooth ride, and The Sudbury Chamber of Commerce.

This past April 7th 2014, Alan Goodrich played drums in “The Platters” at The Paradise Rock Club in Boston, MA as part of the Boston Firefighters Response charity event. It was a fun night of music for a great cause. Alan has enjoyed playing for Herb Reed’s Platters in the past and enjoyed doing so again. The Platters had many #1 and Top 10 hits in the 50’s and 60’s including “Only You,” and “Smoke Gets In Your Eyes” and were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1990.

On Sunday, February 16th 2014, the Alligators got to perform live with one of Alan’s drum hero’s behind the kit! Two sets featuring originals and covers were played to a packed and enthusiastic crowd. A very fun time.
